Process

Application first, then the project.

You submit the application yourself as a company. We supply the documents in the form the funding body needs them.

Clarify the funding question

In the initial consultation, we check which programme is suitable for your company and your project.

Quote in two parts

The eligible process part and the non-eligible part (such as website or design) are shown in separate items. We show third-party costs separately.

Submit the application

You submit with our service description and cost breakdown. Only then does the project start.

Implement

Workshop, pilot and rollout as usual, including training of your team, which is also eligible.

Other cases

Not in Tyrol, or in tourism?

Outside Tyrol

For companies in other Austrian federal states, KMU.DIGITAL and the AI programmes of aws come into question. The budgets there are at times exhausted, which is why we check the current status case by case.

Tourism businesses and associations

The digitalisation funding is not open to them. Possible, for example, is the Tyrolean innovation funding "InnovationsassistentIn", for which tourism associations may also apply.

Larger AI projects

In 2026, the Province of Tyrol ran a call for "Digital Sovereignty" for AI and cloud flagship projects. The 2026 deadline has passed, whether there will be a new one in 2027 is open.

Frequently asked questions

Is AI funded in Tyrol?

Yes. The Tyrolean digitalisation funding explicitly lists AI integration as eligible, as well as automation and the training of employees in the same project. Depending on company size, the subsidy is up to 30, 20 or 10% of the project costs.

When does the application have to be submitted?

Before the project starts. Anything already started before the application is not eligible. That is why we clarify the funding before we submit a quote, and the project only starts after submission.

Who submits the application?

Your company, because you are the funding recipient. web-crossing is the supplier and provides the service description and cost breakdown.

Is a new website also eligible?

No, websites and marketing are excluded from the Tyrolean digitalisation funding. That is why, in mixed projects, we separate the eligible process part in the quote from the website part.

Is there a guarantee of funding?

No. The funding body of the Province of Tyrol decides on approval and amount. We make sure that your documents are complete and cleanly structured.

Clarify the funding before you start.

Write to us briefly about what you are planning and where your company is based. We will tell you which programme comes into question before a quote is created.
