With many hosting offers, the backup is a surcharge that is easy to overlook when ordering. With us it is a fixed part of every package, from Starter to XXL. You cannot deselect it, and you pay nothing extra for it.

We apply security updates automatically within the installed major version. Upgrading to the next major version, for example from TYPO3 13 to 14, is a separate project we are happy to quote for.

We have been building and looking after TYPO3, WordPress and Contao websites ourselves for many years. That is why our hosting is tuned to exactly these systems.
TYPO3 hosting
TYPO3 13 LTS pre-installed and ready to use. PHP, database and caching are set up for the needs of the enterprise CMS, and we apply security updates within the LTS version automatically.
WordPress hosting
WordPress 6.9 pre-installed, with server settings for fast loading times. Automatic security updates and the daily backup catch what a faulty plugin update can break. XXL is also suitable for WooCommerce.
Contao hosting
Contao 5.7 LTS pre-installed. The open-source CMS is user-friendly, flexible and puts weight on accessible output. Security updates within the LTS version are included.
PHP hosting, nothing pre-installed
A clean web space for your own PHP applications, frameworks or another CMS. PHP 8.3, 8.4 or 8.5 as you choose, MariaDB 11.4 LTS, and from Pro upwards SSH access for Composer and deployments.
Docker, workers, your own services: that is what a server is for.
For a classic website, a hosting package does the job well. As soon as background processes, containers, a specific runtime version or guaranteed performance come into play, your own server is the better choice. Managed or unmanaged, with security modules for NIS2.
Frequently asked questions
Is the backup really included in every package?
Yes. Every package is backed up daily, files and databases. The backup is not an add-on and cannot be deselected. If you need a restore, just get in touch.
Why do TYPO3 and Contao cost more than WordPress?
The specification is the same. TYPO3 and Contao need more care during installation, updates and operation, for example because of Composer-based installation and LTS updates. That effort is in the price.
Will you move my existing website?
Yes. We transfer files, database and, if you like, mailboxes, and only switch the domain once everything works. The effort is stated in the quote.
Can I upgrade to a bigger package later?
Yes, at any time. Your website stays where it is and gets more resources. If XXL becomes too small, your own server is the next step.
Let’s Encrypt or RapidSSL?
Technically both encrypt equally well. We set up Let’s Encrypt once for €45, after that it renews automatically with no running costs. RapidSSL is valid for a year at a time, comes with an issuer warranty and is sometimes required by partners, banks or in tenders. OV and EV certificates also validate your company.
Do I need Composer?
If your website is installed and updated with Composer, yes. That applies to TYPO3 in Composer mode or applications built with Laravel and Symfony, for example. Composer runs over SSH, so it comes with the Pro package and above. For WordPress and classic installations you usually do not need it.
How long is the contract?
The minimum term is 12 months. After that the package renews for 12 months at a time unless you cancel up to 30 days before the end of the term.
Where are the servers?
In our own server room in the DC3 data centre in Innsbruck, with uninterruptible power supply, redundant internet connectivity and a Fortigate firewall. Your data stays in Austria, and a data processing agreement is included.
Do you also offer ASP.NET hosting?
For existing Windows projects, yes, on request. For new .NET applications we recommend ASP.NET Core on your own Linux server.
