What are transactional emails?
Transactional emails are triggered automatically by an action: someone places an order, signs up, resets a password, or submits a form. Unlike newsletters, they go to a single person and are expected - often urgently so.
Why not just send through the web server?
Most websites send their emails directly through the web server or a PHP mail script. That works - until it doesn't.
Deliverability
Web server IPs have no maintained sender reputation. Gmail, Outlook and GMX filter these emails out increasingly aggressively - more than ever since the major providers tightened their requirements.
No traceability
You never find out whether an email was delivered, rejected, or marked as spam. Troubleshooting only starts once customers complain.
No bounce handling
Sending repeatedly to invalid addresses keeps damaging your reputation - a vicious circle that drags down the delivery rate of all your emails.

DKIM signing and a correctly configured SPF setup for your domain, so receiving servers classify your emails as legitimate - the foundation of any good delivery rate.
Full transparency
Every single message is traceable in the dashboard - status, delivery time, error messages. Optionally with open and click tracking.
Bounce handling & suppression list
Undeliverable addresses are automatically detected and blocked instead of damaging your reputation. This protects the delivery rate of all future emails.

Your emails run on our servers - not on US clouds
The service runs entirely on our own infrastructure in Austria. No email content or recipient data is transferred to US providers or third countries - unlike the well-known cloud services for email delivery.
